It's a thrilling sight to see the flotilla of wooden vessels, led by the mighty Tall Ships, as they make their way up the River Derwent in a spectacular celebration of the wooden boat community in the opening event of this iconic biennial festival.
Commencing at 10am, our cruise will also explore the River Derwent, its beautiful beaches, sea cliffs and the Iron Pot, Australia's oldest lighthouse before joining the flotilla of over 200 wooden boats and other vessels.
The cruise will conclude at around 1:30/2:00pm (depending on the conclusion of the Parade of Sail). You are welcome to BYO lunch to enjoy on the cruise if you wish.
Friday 7th February 2025
Adults $135, Children $100 (Under 16 yrs)
The Parade of Sail will be led by some of our favourite tall ships including James Craig, One & All, Endeavour Replica, Soren Larsen, Young Endeavour, Enterprize, Julie Burgess, Lady Nelson, Rhona H, Kerrawyn and Windeward Bound.
